Our Founder & CEO

Dr. Torri J’s Bio:

A transplant from Kalamazoo, Michigan, Dr. Torri J. Evans-Barton currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia where she is the Founder & CEO of The Fatherless Generation Foundation.

Growing up in a single parent household, Torri faced many adversities adding tremendous devastation to her life. Those devastations emphasized the fact she needed her father. In 2003, Dr. Torri J. decided to follow her heart to restore her family, which meant going in search of the father she had never known. At the end of her search, she found her father along with twelve brothers and sisters, seventy-six nieces and nephews and now 16 great-nieces and nephews.

Reuniting with her father incited an incredible burden. The burden Dr. Torri J. carried was her realization there were other fatherless children who desired reconciliation with their absent fathers. No longer a burden but a full-time mission to reunite fatherless children with their fathers.

Her personal journey of growing up in a single parent household and then reuniting with her biological father has fueled her mission to reunite fatherless children worldwide with their fathers.

Dr. Torri J. launched The Fatherless Generation Foundation (TFGF) in 2009. TFGF is a non-profit organization headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia providing services to 98 cities within 33 states where we are reuniting fathers and their children all while providing the resources and services that strengthen, support, and elevate a commitment to fatherhood and family values.
